GENERAL Election Schedule

You may call your county clerk’s office at any time to ask that an Absentee Ballot REQUEST be mailed to you, and you may return it at any time.

Tuesday October 7: Voter Registration for the General election ends. Absentee ballots start being mailed out. Ballots may be mailed back (postmark deadline Friday October 31) or may be dropped off at ANY polling place, including early voting locations, but the county clerks ask that you bring them to their county office for more efficient processing.

Saturday October 18: Early voting starts. Saturday November 1: Early voting ends. Call your county clerk for locations and hours that the sites are open.

Tuesday November 4: Primary voting at precinct polling places. Your polling location is listed on your voter registration card. You may bring your card to your polling place, but if you prefer (and you are not newly registered by mail) you can just provide your last name and your physical address. Read the voters bill of rights (link above) for more detailed information.
